Adam Jimenez-Schulman
Adam is a seasoned strategy, operations, and management professional, with 15+ years of experience in the for-profit and non-profit spaces.
Originally, Adam worked as a strategy and M&A consultant for PwC, supporting clients in evaluating growth opportunities, assessing challenges, and strategically planning across industries, including government, consumer goods, and finance.
Adam has also served as a network and school operations leader for Explore Schools, a free public charter school organization serving 2,000 students and families in central Brooklyn, NY. Network responsibilities included operations, data, compliance, and facilities oversight, along with supporting and developing school operations staff across 8 schools. School-based responsibilities as an Assistant Principal included leading operations and culture teams, along with overseeing school-wide procedures, stakeholder and vendor relationships, and the budget.
Adam has a MScBA, with a specialization in Leadership and Change Management from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, and since 2019 he has been serving in a consultant capacity for public-good organizations in the United States and internationally. This work has focused on the core of what his company, Solutions Oriented Consulting, offers: building excellent teams, primarily through collaborative, inclusive, and individualized leadership coaching and development.
Adam also serves as the Head of People and Talent for Rising Academies (an education B-Corp based in West Africa), which has a staff of over 600 global employees, serving over 250,000 students. The work over the past couple years as focused on creating and building central People and Talent teams, systems, and processes for the growing organization, which has tripled its international HQ staff from ~60 to ~175 employees over the past 18 months. While in this role Adam has also provided leadership coaching and thought-partnership to individuals across the management team. He is currently also leading efforts to revamp the internal supports for individual professional development for all staff.
