About

Calondra Tibbs, M.P.H., is the CEO and Nonprofit Strategist for Trifecta Advising, LLC. Calondra has over 20 years of experience working with national nonprofits and local, state, and federal government public health agencies. She has designed, implemented, and evaluated public health programs in the areas of maternal and child health, environmental health, and chronic diseases. Calondra has also developed public health and organizational training and projects with a variety of agencies, which included building strategic partnerships and effective programs and systems management within those organizations.

Calondra has nearly nine years of experience working with local public health systems, including her work as a lead epidemiologist, program director, and deputy administrator at the Shelby County Health Department in Memphis, Tennessee. During that time, she was responsible not only for leading public health responses to community and state-level crises, but also played a critical role in collecting and evaluating data, engaging community stakeholders to collectively address public health priorities, and leading strategic plans to improve the overall health of the community. While working with the National Association of County and City Health Officials, she developed and implemented federally funded public health programs, which included ensuring program evaluation strategies were in line with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s evaluation and performance measurement guidelines. Calondra also oversaw collaborations and partnerships with communities, local health departments, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention across programs in maternal and child health, injury and violence prevention, environmental health, and chronic diseases. Calondra's experience provides an advantage for engagement and evaluation of program implementation.

Calondra has also served as the Chief Operating Officer for the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease (WomenHeart). In this capacity, she oversaw nonprofit development, programs, communications, and operations activities. She also spent a short time as the Interim CEO during leadership transition.

Calondra earned her bachelor’s of science degree in Health Science Education from the University of Florida and her master’s of public health degree from Florida A&M University.
