About

Chamlee McGuire, Heightened Development Founder and Principal Consultant, has served the non-profit sector for nearly 30 years in leadership roles across organizations in many stages of development. Her greatest joy is seeing leaders excited and clear about the impact they will make in the next several years. Chamlee’s approach as a consultant is not only high-impact delivery on the promised outcomes, but as a key partner to the leadership team for that organization.

Chamlee served for 12 years as CEO of Hope Center for Children, where she brought the organization through a merger, adoption of evidence-based programs, development of four new programs, a redeveloped governance structure, sustainable revenue growth and greater client impact. Chamlee excels in supporting organizations through strategic planning, especially when pivots and changes are needed, as well as walking alongside leaders during the building phases of a new project or initiative.  Chamlee holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University, and has a certificate in system change and continuous improvement.

Heightened Development (HD) was founded as a resource for nonprofit leaders solving our most complex and important problems.  Chamlee served as CEO and in multiple roles in the sector before founding HD, so she understands the challenges firsthand. HD partners with you to assess your strengths and weakenesses, and to build out the right structure, systems and organizational culture to achieve your long range goals.
