Kim St. Bernard, Principal of KSB Enterprises, is a Leader, Strategist, and Executive Coach with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She guides nonprofit Executive Directors, senior staff and boards in rethinking operational priorities and strategic direction to maximize goals and impact.

She is a certified Interim Executive Director for the Support Center for Nonprofit Management. Kim formerly served as the principal executive promoting a broad service platform, volunteerism, human resources and giving for Make-A-Wish Metro New York and Western New York attracting and leading relationships with individuals, corporations and community engagement partners.

Kim also held numerous leadership roles at Girl Scouts of the USA, providing relationship management, executive coaching and training to affiliate executives and boards in 50 states in nonprofit management, human resource management, leadership development, growth strategy, governance and organizational change strategy. In this role, she facilitated mergers and dissolutions of affiliate corporations through business system planning, growth restructuring and process redesign. As the former Director of Strategic Leadership at the Girl Scouts of the USA, Kim led the Asset management consulting group which focused on executive development, human resources, strategic planning, finance management, property management, governance, and enterprise risk management.

Kim served as Assistant Director, Eastern Region for the National Urban League where she supported Executive Directors for affiliate corporations located in the northeast. She also served as Director, Office of Technical Assistance for the National Division, General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church directing training and management consulting to executive directors and boards of directors of 112 United Methodist health and social service institutions.

Kim received an MSW from Clark/Atlanta University in Planning and Administration and a BSW from Morgan State University. She completed the Executive Leadership program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Institute in Employment and Training Administration at Harvard University. Kim is a Pro-Bono Account Executive for the Taproot Foundation in human resources and strategy and alumnae of the Coro-Leadership New York program. She also serves on the New York Women’s Foundation Grant Advisory Committee, Association of Nonprofit Specialists, and the Selection Committee for the “Nonprofit Excellent Awards” for Nonprofit New York.
