Lorraine Goodman holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a Master’s in Performing Arts Administration from NYU’s Steinhardt. Her nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience spans organizations including The Red Hot Organization, Theatre for a New Audience, New York Musical Festival, Roulette Intermedium, Princeton AlumniCorps, the Latin American Legal Defense Fund, American Supporters of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (ASRADA), Broadway Bound Kids, and Westrick Music Academy. Over her career, she has secured more than $17 million in funding from institutional sources, including government grants (NEA, NYSCA, NJSCA, NEH, CDC Foundation), private foundations, and corporate sponsors such as American Express, Bloomberg, and Bank of America.
A skilled presenter (with experience as a performer on Broadway and overseas), Lorraine has led workshops on institutional advancement and fundraising, including *Using a CRM to Build Relationships* for The Presser Foundation’s *Next Movement* (September 2024), *Getting the Grant: Beating the Odds* at NYC Arts in Education Roundtable’s *Face2Face* (April 2024) & at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America National Conference (June 2023), and *Institutional Advancement through Good Governance* for The Montclair Foundation (January 2023).
