Melissa Elliott is the owner of BE AGAPE, LLC, founder of BE AGAPE Now, Inc., and co-owner of Chateau Margaux. A mental wellness champion for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, she is passionately committed to supporting parents — and all who seek healing and growth — through therapy, coaching, and wellness services designed for individuals, families, and organizations.
Melissa brings over a decade of professional experience as a licensed clinical social worker, certified coach, and organizational consultant. She has designed and delivered workforce development trainings to government agencies, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, and educational institutions across the United States and internationally. Her facilitation style is consistently described as engaging, grounded, and transformative — creating learning environments where participants feel safe to practice new skills and engage with challenging material.
Melissa holds a Master of Social Work from New York University (MSW '11), a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in African and Latino History from CUNY–Bernard M. Baruch College, and an Executive Education Certificate from Fordham University. She earned her Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) certificate from Hunter College, City University of New York, and her Coaching for Transformation credential through Leadership That Works. She is currently completing her doctoral dissertation in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, with research focused on organizational support theory, intersectionality, and equity in the workplace — findings that directly inform her Legacy Your Way leadership coaching platform.
