Rosemarie Slevin Perocchia has over 25 years of experience as an executive and consultant with leading national cancer organizations.  She helps organizations to achieve better health outcomes, by advising on performance management, evidenced-based models for patient/consumer engagement and activation, partnership development and research and publication.  Recent clients include The American Cancer Society, Cancer Care and the CIS Research Consortium.   

With a strong clinical background and expertise in training and research, Rosemarie is recognized as a leader in the field of health information and communications and patient navigation.

Prior to consulting, Rosemarie served as the Director of the NCI’s Cancer Information Service (CIS) at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, a public health information system dedicated to provision of cancer information to patients and families, development of  partnerships with underserved communities, and cancer control research.   Prior to the role of CIS Director, Rosemarie developed the patient and family education program at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Rosemarie has served as adjunct faculty at Columbia University Graduate Nursing Program, Pace University School of Nursing, and Hunter College School of Social Work’s Post Graduate Program.  

Rosemarie is a regular presenter and author on cancer communications.  She is a member of Board of Directors and the current Secretary for the of The Association for Nonprofit Specialists, a member of the Advisory Board of Cancer Care, a Grant Reviewer for Susan G. Komen and has been the recipient of numerous awards for her leadership and outstanding service.
