Join the Association of Nonprofit Specialist to address and instill racial equity in your day-to-day consulting work. In this experiential 90-minute workshop, we will explore case studies and share personal experiences to help us identify equity lenses for all consulting work. This session welcomes everyone, from novice to experienced, in creating a personal equity rubric that you can use every day. 

We are so fortunate and honored to have Cardozie Jones, CEO and Founder of True North EDI lead us through this curated session. He will help us identify opportunities, uncover what’s getting in our way, and allow us the space to think through our “now what” with our own racial equity journeys. Our goal is to help our members and interested guests identify ways to shift their practice to using their influence and power to incorporate racial equity strategies in their work whether your focus is strategic planning, fundraising, evaluation, board governance or more. True North EDI is a Black-owned consulting and professional development firm that operates within the diversity, equity, and inclusion space. Founded in 2018, True North EDI believes that organizational and institutional change requires deep and informed reflection on the ways in which identity, history, and power intersect and impact our lives, followed by plans for action and accountability. Despite his reverence for the work, as a facilitator, Cardozie does not believe it should feel heavier than we can carry together. It’s with this belief that he approaches each engagement with a buoyancy and joy that allows for participants to more easily move toward change that feels inspiring, necessary, and possible.
